A marketing strategy is a set of choices about who to help, what to say, where to show up, what action to invite and how to learn.

Practical ruleMake the decision, evidence and owner explicit before adding another channel, tool or automation.

Start with a market problem

Name the audience, trigger, consequence and alternatives. Avoid defining an ICP only by industry or company size.

Make the value legible

State the problem you understand, the change you help create and why your approach is credible. Keep proof close to the claim.

Give each channel a job

Use search to capture intent, paid social and LinkedIn to build reach and preference, content to teach and CRM to preserve context. The mix should follow the buying process.

Offer the right next step

Use a free tool, useful template, focused audit or conversation according to readiness. Do not force every visitor into a demo.

Define learning before activity

Choose leading signals and commercial signals, assign owners and set a review cadence. Strategy becomes useful when it changes a decision.
